I have spent hours looking back at myself in the mirror attempting to understand what comes next. The bathroom is a rare reprieve from the synopticon. It is a palace of compassionate self-surveillance, a place I can experiment with trial and error. I have been and seen so many versions of myself in restrooms around the world. 

The bathroom is a vehicle to the horizon.
